You can prove that you are performing activities according to the guidelines of Horeca Nederland with a HACCP hygiene code certificate. The certificate will be valid for umlimited time in The Netherlands. We do advise you to follow the course every three years, because the guidelines and terms will change a lot every year.
Who will have to obtain the HACCP hygiene code certificate?
HACCP hygiene code is intended for organisations that concern themselves with the preparation, processing and distribution of foodstuffs. This means all food and drink products, but also raw materials and consumables that are used in foodstuffs. If you work in this sector, HACCP hygiene code certification is mandatory. The government carries out strict controls of compliance with the certification.
How to get the HACCP hygiene code certificate?
You will have to buy the online course to obtain the HACCP hygiene code certificate. You will receive the online course modules with knowledge checks. After that you can do the online final exam. You will receive two attempts for the final exam. If you pass, you will receive a certificate and pass. If you did not pass the final exam within two attempts, please send an email to customersupport@plusport.com. We can give you an extra attempt.

The validity of the HACCP hygiene code certificate is indefinitely. We do advise you to do the course every three year, so you stay informed according to the newest guidelines and terms.
